Dr. Karena is a doctor of psychotherapy trained in EMDR, Somatic interventions, Mindful movement intervention, and a Mindful Movement Paddle Board Instructor (for meditation and mindfulness and a therapeutic intervention).

are you interest in a mindfulness paddle board retreat? Half-day, full-day, and multi-day retreats available and can be personalized for individual or group. Retreats can be focused on medical/mental health conditions ( ie. Autoimmune diseases, PTSD/Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, or general wellness or growth focused).
we are settled in to cabin life (489 square feet). Over 2 miles of trails are finished with over 30 scripture meditation signs placed through the trails & woods. 50 + acres of private waterfront land welcomes Ladies only for primitive camping and some spots for Jeep & car camping. Gorgeous hiking along the bluff overlooking the bay And sunrise paddles are a few of the must do experiences. No charge Move to Be Still groups are available with paddle boards, life vest, paddle, and whistle provided.
Do I have to know how to paddle board?
A: No. you do not have to know how to paddle board.
Do I have to know how to swim?
A: Knowing how to swim is helpful for confidence but a life jacket will be provided. If you do not know how to swim you will be asked to wear your life jacket.

I started with paddle boarding in 2008 and now want to be on the water daily paddling and paddle board mindful movements. Then I began hiking. Now I'm into any lake or river I can paddle board on or any trail I can hike! Let's find something you love that gets you moving!
